Finally, a recording for my small audience to preview before I start the podcast feed. This is a short 6 minute sample of the pilot episode, which itself is a preview of what is to come.   1. Hello, I really like it your contents. I am Korean and I majored in Korean history. Anyway I would like to your subject telling about Sun-Shin LEE first your story. I am not sure that my English sentence. I open mind to correct my sentence. Thank you for telling abou Korean history. You are so cool!!!!

(it’s my fault! your voice and speaking is good to hear) I think you might like Korean history than Korean! It’s amazing that foreigner likes Korean history and heroes. I hope people from different countries find your website and have interests in Korea.

  7. Before listening this, I hadn’t thought about the general Lee sun-shin’s contribution. Because of this, I recognized about the huge contribution of Lee sun-shin. I think the general Lee sun-shin is the greatest general in the midst of the generals who save our country. So thank you for making me realize.

In fact, I love learning other languages and cultures though, feel bored about histories… so I admire you… also I am glad that you reconize Korea’s various aspects !   9. My favorite hero is also Yi sun- shin. He was a very wise and brave admiral. I respect him. Without him, Korea would exist in history textbook. After listening your pilot teaser, I become interested in korean heroes. So, I would expect to listen your next contents.

  15. When i listened your recording, i was ashamed of myself. Because i don`t know about korean history, although i`m korean. By taking this lecture, i want to know more about Yi Sun Sin and korean history. And i think this class makes me have good english skill and historical knowledge. Very thanks, professor.

There have been annual festival for Lee sun-shin to honor his achievements on his birthday, April 28th. I’ve took part in this festival every year, but I didn’t know why it has been holding in here. I felt shame after see your effort to introduce him to many people. However, your recordings and scripts are very easy to understand and interesting compared to complicated Korean history textbook. I expect to learn more knowledge of history through this website! Thank you!!

  18. I listen your voice well. I envy you! Because you have nice wepsite which you make happier throughout enjoying hobby. I also want to enjoy hobby, but I can’t do sincerely. I wonder where you finded history reference. Because I have to study history but I don’t know where can I find it. I will come this wepsite to learn history and heroes next time.     The pictures are really impressive and well-done, but there is possibility of misunderstanding.
    I know the red colour is the point of Yi sun-sin but I thought the right guy was him. i remember you said the left guy is him. How about put the names on the picture? would it be messy?

  21. Hello, it’s first time for me to listen to your recording. I’m glad to hear that you admire Yi Sun Shin. Do you know the movie about him, ‘명량’ ? I think you really like it. Watching it, I began to admire him and more thought about our Korean history, the period of Yi Sun Shin. If you didn’t watch it yet, I strongly recommend it to you!

  24. Its interesting to think of someone telling the history of our country Korea from some who is in the third persons view! I agree that learning about history is fun! History tests aren’t. Since there will be no tests on this, I’ll be looking forward to your podcasts. I hope we can share our insights about Korean history and Korean Heroes.
